Terms & conditions

Plain-English terms for shopping with us. They don’t affect your statutory rights.

About us

glowtideshop.com is run by Glow Tide, based in Scotland, United Kingdom. Contact us at hello@glowtideshop.com.

Your order

When you place an order you’ll get an email confirming we’ve received it. Our contract with you starts when we take payment and send that confirmation.

If we can’t supply something (for example it has just sold out), we’ll let you know and refund you in full straight away.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include any VAT that applies. Delivery and gift wrapping costs are shown before you pay. Payments are processed securely by Square. Discount codes can’t be exchanged for cash and only one can be used per order.

Delivery, cancellations and returns

Our delivery & returns page explains delivery times, your 14-day right to cancel, and what to do if something is faulty. Those details form part of these terms.

Our products

We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can, but colours can look slightly different on screen. Handmade items such as soaps and bath salts can vary a little from batch to batch. Please check ingredient lists if you have allergies or sensitive skin, and patch test new bath products. Dog treats are for dogs only and should be given as part of a balanced diet with fresh water available.

Our responsibility to you

We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that’s a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We don’t exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

The website

All text, photos and designs on this site belong to Glow Tide or our suppliers. Our Daily Glow affirmations, journal and gratitude jar are for inspiration and general wellbeing, not medical advice.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, please contact us first. We’ll always try to put things right.
